Our Story

Discovering beauty in simplicity our founder has been passionate about decor and design. Having traveled all over the world, design brought her back to her original roots, her Indian heritage. Although we carry decor curated from many parts of the world, our main focus remains ethically sourced decor and textiles from India, bringing authentic handmade designs. India has a rich cultural heritage, and that is apparent in its art forms. The ethnic communities in India have a very rich tradition of keeping their art alive and this is apparent in the quality of the textiles and intricate designs.

Artisanal values

The ethnic communities in India have a very rich tradition of creating unique handicrafts. Many artisans were taught this trade by their parents, who were, in turn, taught by each generation going back at least 300 years.

India’s rich textile history and age old printing techniques are renowned. Kalamkari, Ajrak, Dabu, Bhandhani, Bagh are some printing techniques that are simply blooming. Handmade and handwoven is our focus and these Indian elements flourish in modern and contemporary every day spaces.

The popularity of Indian textiles is evidenced in the number of words that have made their way into English: calico, pajama, gingham, dungaree, chintz, and khaki.

Our design projects

Our products have been featured in various collaborations with interior designers and private clients alike. The most notable are our collaborations and products featured on 4 episodes of HGTVs Hoard House Flippers
